Mr. Ganguly is a seasoned and highly skilled analyst who brings expertise and leadership in the areas of data and database design, analysis, coding, statistical modelling, and developing analytic products to the FHC team. In his capacity as an Analytics Manager at FHC, Mr. Ganguly has guided clients on addressing analytical and technical challenges, and provided them with meaningful, accurate, and timely analysis of health data.
As examples of client work, Mr. Ganguly oversaw analytic efforts for Connecticut’s Office of Health Strategy work on recent hospital acquisitions; he developed methodology, code, and analytic tools to assess for impact to price, quality, marketshare, finances, access, and delivery of low-margin care. The New Hampshire Insurance Department (NHID) engaged Mr. Ganguly to utilize their APCD to determine coverage of preventative and mental health services, and he currently provides analytic support for assessing laws considered in the NH legislature. In Massachusetts, Mr. Ganguly worked with the Health Policy Commission to analyze hospital quality performance, and to the Attorney General’s Office to support their annual report on health cost trends.
Before joining FHC, Mr. Ganguly worked as a research associate at the Lahey Hospital and Medical Center, where he managed clinical trials, performed statistical analysis on numerous observational studies, maintained a large database of patients, and presented at conferences such as the American Academy of Neurology (AAN). In addition, Mr. Ganguly served as a Statistical Analyst for the Boston University Center for Global Health and Development, where he evaluated the efficacy of text message reminders in improving on-time Antiretroviral Therapy (ART) dosing for a drug adherence study on HIV patients in China.
Mr. Ganguly holds a Master's Degree in Public Health, with a concentration in Epidemiology, from the Boston University School of Public Health, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree from Marlboro College, with concentrations in Mathematics and Biology.
